Initiate the Transfer
Have the dealer ship your firearm to us. Our FFL information is available on request. Email transfers@premiershoot.com and we’ll send it over.
We Notify You
Once your firearm arrives and is logged in, we’ll contact you directly via phone or email. Please allow up to 48 hours for log-in and background check preparation.
Pick It Up
Come in during business hours with a valid government-issued photo ID. Complete the Form 4473, pass the background check, and take your firearm home.
Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
Your ID must contain your photograph, full legal name, current residence address, date of birth, and signature. A driver’s license or state-issued ID card is standard. If your primary ID does not show your current address, a supplemental government-issued document is required — acceptable examples include a tax bill, vehicle registration, or voter ID card. Documents from private companies (bank statements, utility bills, leases, etc.) are not accepted per ATF Form 4473 requirements.
Only the Named Individual May Pick Up
Only the person listed on the transfer paperwork may pick up the firearm. No releases to friends, family members, or third parties under any circumstances.
Allow Up to 48 Hours After Arrival
Once your firearm is received, please allow up to 48 hours for check-in and preparation. We will contact you when it’s ready.
Ohio CCW Holders
A valid Ohio Concealed Handgun License substitutes for the standard NICS background check, which speeds up the process. The transfer fee is the same either way. Bring your license with you at pickup.
Range Plus Members Pay Half.
A Range Plus membership drops your transfer fee from $50 to $25 per firearm, permanently. If you transfer more than one gun a year, the membership pays for itself on transfers alone.
