Third-Party Transfer Policy
The firearm must be shipped to us directly by a licensed dealer (FFL holder). We cannot accept transfers from private sellers, individuals, or unlicensed parties under any circumstances. If you purchased from a private party, the seller must first transfer the firearm through a licensed dealer in their state before it can be shipped to us.
We also do not ship firearms to other FFLs on behalf of private parties. If you need to transfer a personally owned firearm to another dealer or individual out of state, please contact a licensed dealer who offers that service.

Why pay an extra $50 to buy elsewhere? Our online store carries thousands of items. Order for in-store pickup with no transfer fees and no shipping charges, even on items not currently in stock. Range Plus members also get a 5% discount on all purchases.

Initiate the Transfer
Have the dealer ship your firearm to us. Our FFL information is available on request. Email transfers@premiershoot.com and we’ll send it right over.
We Notify You
Once your firearm arrives and is logged in, we’ll contact you by phone or email. Please allow up to 48 hours for check-in and paperwork preparation.
Pick It Up
Come in during business hours with a valid government-issued photo ID. Complete the Form 4473, pass the background check, and take your firearm home.
Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
Your ID must show your photograph, full legal name, current residence address, date of birth, and signature. A driver’s license or state ID is standard. If your primary ID does not list your current address, you’ll also need a supplemental government-issued document such as a tax bill, vehicle registration, or voter ID card. Bank statements, utility bills, and leases are not accepted per ATF Form 4473 requirements.
Only the Named Individual May Pick Up
Only the person listed on the transfer paperwork may pick up the firearm. No releases to friends, family members, or third parties under any circumstances.
Allow Up to 48 Hours After Arrival
Once your firearm is received, please allow up to 48 hours for check-in and preparation. We’ll contact you when it’s ready.
Ohio CHL Holders
A valid Ohio Concealed Handgun License substitutes for the standard NICS background check, which can speed up the process. The transfer fee is the same either way. Bring your license with you at pickup.
Range Plus Members Pay Half.
A Range Plus membership drops your transfer fee from $50 to $25 per firearm, permanently. Transfer more than one gun a year and the membership pays for itself on transfers alone.
