Safety Validation Requirement:
To preserve the safety of everyone on the range, everyone in your lane party must display competent and safe firearm handling capabilities before shooting. If you are entirely new to firearms, out of practice, or unfamiliar with basic range operations, you are required to complete our introductory coaching session.
Our Personal Safety Officer (PSO) Session:
Instead of a simple lecture, we pair you one-on-one with a dedicated instructor on the range. This 1-hour, live-fire experience is designed to build your confidence, establish baseline fundamentals, and ensure total safety from your very first shot.
Our lanes are 25 yards (75 feet) long. Using our digital retrieval system, you can set your target at any interval from 3 to 25 yards. Each lane is equipped with adjustable lighting and steady shooting benches to accommodate your specific training needs.
The minimum age to use the range is 10 years old. Please note the following requirements:
This policy outlines the legal requirements for non-U.S. citizens who wish to use our shooting range facilities, rent firearms, or purchase ammunition. Our facility strictly adheres to United States federal law and Ohio state regulations. A visitor’s legal ability to shoot depends entirely on their passport country and their specific immigration or travel status.
Lawful permanent residents face the same rules as United States citizens. Green Card holders are legally permitted to rent firearms, purchase ammunition, and use the range by presenting a valid, unexpired Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) along with a standard government-issued photo ID.
The following countries do not require a visa to enter the United States for tourism, either via the Visa Waiver Program (ESTA) or through special visa-free agreements like Canada. Citizens from these nations are legally permitted under federal law to rent firearms, purchase ammunition, and shoot at the range by simply presenting their valid, unexpired foreign passport:
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.
If a guest holds a passport from a country not listed above, they are considered to be traveling under a nonimmigrant visa status and face a federal firearm restriction. To legally use the range, they must present their passport along with either a valid, unexpired United States State Hunting License (which can be purchased online from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources) or a valid U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident Card (Green Card).
All rental firearms and ammunition must remain on the shooting range premises. It is a federal crime for a non-citizen tourist to take rental guns or ammunition off-premises. Guests subject to the nonimmigrant visa restriction must book a Personal Safety Officer (PSO) session to use the range. This one-on-one, instructor-supervised session satisfies the federal requirement for organized, supervised use of a facility-provided firearm. Walk-in range access is not available for these guests. Book a PSO Session. Management reserves the right to deny range access to any individual who cannot provide the exact legal documentation required by federal law.
You may shoot handguns and rifles up to .308 caliber. Some heavy calibers, such as .338 and .50, are excluded. The following ammunition types are not allowed: black powder, steel shot, steel core, armor-piercing, bi-metal, or reloaded ammunition. You may also shoot shotguns, but only with slugs or buckshot.
Yes, you may use your own ammunition in your firearms, but it must be factory-boxed and is subject to inspection. Reloaded ammunition is not allowed.
The following ammunition types are strictly prohibited at our facility for range safety and backdrop protection:
No. For safety and maintenance reasons, all rental firearms must use ammunition purchased at our facility. This helps us ensure that the ammunition being used meets the specific requirements for our rental fleet and keeps our equipment in top condition for all guests.
Absolutely. Our Pro Shop is fully stocked with everything required for a safe session, including eye and ear protection, targets, and a wide variety of ammunition. We also have an extensive rental fleet featuring popular handguns, rifles, and shotguns. If you’re new to a specific model, our team is happy to provide a brief overview of its operation.
All visitors are required to follow the S.A.F.E. Principle for firearm safety and maintain proper range decorum. Shooting activities involve inherent risks: by entering the range, you acknowledge these risks and agree to abide by all local, state, and federal laws.
