Required for New Shooters

First time on a range?

If you have limited shooting experience, you’re required to complete a 1-hour Personal Safety Officer (PSO) session before range access. It’s a live-fire experience. Just you and a dedicated officer, one-on-one, on the range.

It’s not a lecture. It’s real coaching from the first shot.

On Range

On the Range

Once you’re on the floor, you’re under the supervision of our Range Safety Officers (RSOs). Follow their instructions without hesitation.

  • The four rules, alwaysTreat every gun as loaded. Never point at anything you aren’t willing to destroy. Finger off the trigger until ready to fire. Know your target and what’s beyond it.
  • Muzzle stays downrangeAlways. Don’t let it sweep toward the ceiling, walls, or other shooters. This is called “flagging” and it’s taken seriously.
  • “Ceasefire” means stop nowWhen an RSO calls ceasefire, stop shooting immediately. Set your firearm on the bench with the action open and step back behind the line.
  • Use the target carrierThe electronic carrier moves your targets. Don’t shoot at the floor, ceiling, walls, or the carrier equipment itself.

International Visitors

Visiting from Outside the U.S.?

Federal law governs firearm access for non-U.S. citizens. Here’s exactly what applies to you based on your travel status.

Green Card Holders

Lawful Permanent Residents

Lawful permanent residents have the same range access as U.S. citizens. Present your valid, unexpired Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) along with a standard government-issued photo ID and you’re good to go.

Visa Waiver Program Countries

No Visa Required Nations

Citizens of the following countries may enter the U.S. without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program (ESTA) or bilateral visa-free agreements. These visitors may rent firearms, purchase ammunition, and use the range by presenting a valid, unexpired foreign passport.

Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.
Nonimmigrant Visa Holders

Traveling on a Visa?

If your passport country is not on the approved list below, federal law restricts firearm possession. To shoot at Premier, you must present your passport plus one of the following:

  • 1A valid, unexpired Ohio State Hunting License (available online from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources)
  • or
  • 2A valid U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)

Once your documentation is confirmed, you must book a Personal Safety Officer (PSO) session. Walk-in range access is not available for nonimmigrant visa holders. The PSO session satisfies the federal requirement for organized, supervised use of a facility-provided firearm.
